Lews Therin Killed Him!

Okay, I know that there are many people out there who believe that Asmodean was killed by Lanfear or Moridin. My belief is one that is mildly supported, but not heavily. I believe that Asmodean was killed by Lews Therin. This belief stems from one of the books describing Lews Therin as death. I do not remember which book it was that had that in it, but I am sure it was there.

This would be a very good way for Robert Jordan to hide the identity of the killer by making it something so minuscule as that. I believe that Lews Therin had a very good motive for killing Asmodean. Believe it or not, I think that Lews Therin killed him because he was teaching Rand far more than he wanted him to know. This may sound a little odd, but I believe that Lews Therin doesn't want Rand to destroy the Dark One once and for all. HE WON'T BE REBORN AGAIN IF THAT HAPPENS. At least that is what I think. Since the Wheel of Time revolves around rebirth and doing things repetitively, then what would happen if the Wheel were somehow destroyed? Things would then happen differently. This would cause Lews Therin to never be reborn again, and I believe that he knows this. That is why he killed Asmodean. I also think that he killed Fel, but that is another theory for another time.

wotmania says: I have heard theories that it was Lews Therin who killed Asmodean, but never with a motive like this... Somehow I doubt Lews Therin wants to be reborn again. His life was rough enough - it seems to me the soul of Lews Therin would like nothing better than a well-deserved rest.

I would like to point out that Half of what Rand learned and did throughout the first few books was by Mitosis, for those of you who haven't had Bio in a long time thats when particles freely cross back and forth over a barrier. In fact i think several of the things he did before he knew what he was doing worked better(I share this unfortunate talent)
And besides this point Your suggestin the LTT can take over Rands body Somethig that has never happened and i think would be a major part of the plot if it were to happen.

Where did these Skimmers come from? I mean if they didn't want to read the book they could have just Traveled to another author. Why risk arriving at the wrong destination? Why risk falling into darkness?

Fel`s death

When you have finished WH, it`s pretty obvious that Fel was killed by the Gholam
(well actually there are still six of them =)

Fel was killed by a Gholum, (sp?) its really obvious, as soon as I read it I was like, "that dirty gholum, how could he hurt him. That was sooo mean". It is practically spelled out that it was a gholum who killed him. Who sent the gholum though is another question all together though.....

Who cares about Fel?

What does Fel have to do with any of this? It was a theory that Lews Therin killed Asmodean, aka Jasin Natael. Yes, a gholam killed Herid Fel, but so what?

The word you're looking for is "osmosis" I believe. Mitosis is cell division.

Kid, ya got guts. I'll give ya that. You make an interesting argument. One no one had thought of. Problem is, you don't have nearly enough evidence to support your theory.

I lost the game.
